Hi, my name is Michael Lacroix. I am the owner of Passion It Pictures and Film. Here is a little about myself. I am 28 years old, I got married in 2021, and now have a daughter. I live in Penetanguishene, Ontario. I started photography and videography in 2014 as a creative outlet.
Over the years, my skills improved and I found that people were interested in my skills. I saw the potential so I started offering my services. I also found videography as I loved the idea of making movies, vlogs, etc. My cousin asked me to film her wedding, I jumped at the chance and it sparked my passion even more.
Passion It Pictures and Film is a solely owned small business, we have been in business for 2 years now. I take pride in my work and love connecting on a more personal level with all my clients. I love making my clients laugh and helping those camera-shy people have fun in front of the camera.
My photography style I would describe it as rich and moody that being said, I can mimic most editing styles. My shooting style is more candid with a hint of posing just to help out, but I love capturing true emotions come through.
My videography style I would say is cinematic and warm. I like to film out of the way and let the photographers work their magic while maintaining the shots I need. This helps with schedules and timelines.
I make it my mission to help my clients feel comfortable, keep us on schedule, help where needed if timing permits it, and make sure the day goes as smoothly as possible. I love working with vendors too, helping each other out and making the Client’s day perfect.
The reason I named my business Passion It Pictures and Film is because this is my passion and I simply love this type of work, and I hope it shows in my work.
My personality is a little goofy while maintaining a professional persona. I love to make witty comments, make clients laugh, and have a good time. I also love giving little pieces of advice on the wedding day.
